Grant Funds Support Special Needs

The Elliott County School District is honored to announce the receipt of a grant award from WHAS Crusade for Children, an organization established by WHAS-TV (Louisville) to raise money for schools and hospitals to help special needs children. The grant funds will be used to purchase therapist-designed tools, equipment and other materials that will help autistic children more easily focus and learn.

WHAS Crusade for Children has served millions of children with special needs throughout Kentucky and Indiana over the past 64 years.  100% of the money raised by the organization goes directly to children, and donations are tax deductible.
