Mr. Selby and Mrs. Tussey's class have been working on a collaboration project. His students in the green house grew hydroponic lettuce and harvested it. He donated the lettuce to my class that was learning about nutrition during pregnancy. We also discussed the nutritional value of processed foods as opposed to organic fruits and vegetables. My students put together a salad bar with the donation of lettuce for students in those classes.
